DISPOSAL BREATHERS

Standard Disposal Desiccant Breathers

The original Des-Case disposable breather. Des-Case breathers proactively prevent ingression of water and particulate contamination through the breather vent by combining the use of two well-known technologies: filtration and desiccant (drying media). The 3-micron filter element prevents particules entry and the desiccant creates relative humidity levels in the headspace which make condensation unlikely.

U.S. Patents 4,548,624 & 4,504,289

Hydraulic reservoirs, gearboxes, electrical transformers and lubricated systems are exposed to pollution from particles, condensation, and splashing water; and generate oil mist that represents a hazard for workers.

Des-Case offers a complete line of breathers to treat those problems and optimize the duration of lubricants and production systems.

Desiccant air breathers:
Agrandir

· Design for machines that start and stop and where there is temperature variation.
· Resilient polycarbonate plastic body.
· Airflow : Bi-directional to 700 l/mn.
· Filtration Particles B3=200 (efficiency 74% from 0,5 micron - half micron).
· Water vapor adsorbent, stops condensation, dust and oil fumes.
· Color indicator for easy system monitoring. Changes from blue to pink, from the bottom to the top.
· DES-CASE breathers meet the European requirement printed in the "Manual of decisions for implementation of the sixth and seventh amendments to directive 67/548/EEC on dangerous substances".
· DES-CASE breathers are in conformity with new european regulation REACH.
· Optional pressure valves (45 mbars) can modified from open to closed breather to protect against splash of free water or very aggressive ambiance.
