Always use the DESCASE desiccant breathers on reservoirs that contain non polluated lubricant. In that case the average duration will be about 12 month (After 15 years of feedvack in Europe, average duration is about 14 months, 8 to 18 months). DESCASE units must turn, from blue to pink (or white), from the bottom to the top (as shown on the right of the picture). If you use DESCASE units on polluated reservoirs, in addition you will see breathers turned pink from the top (as shown on the left of the picture); it means and proves that there is a certain amount of water or moisture inside reservoirs. In that case the duration of DESCASE units may be devided by 10.
